Grove Cottages on Grove Farm are situated in the stunning Stock Valley just outside Ambleside, a little over two miles from the head of Windermere. Our private drive takes you past Stockghyll Falls and through the grasslands of the farm. The views from the cottages are spectacular, from the Old Man of Coniston on the horizon, to Wansfell towering above the farm and the rocky outcrops of Red Screes to the North. Guests are free to explore our 165 acres – there are some great spots to take a picnic down by the river or climb the fells via paths that lead straight from the farm.
